पप्रच्छ दमनं चेति कस्त्वं कस्मादिहागतः । तरुणोपि विरक्तोसि कुतस्तद्वद सत्तम
papraccha damanaṃ ceti kastvaṃ kasmādihāgataḥ | taruṇopi viraktosi kutastadvada sattama
அவர் தமனனை வினவினார்—“நீ யார்? எங்கிருந்து இங்கே வந்தாய்? இளமையிலேயே நீ விரக்தனாய் இருக்கிறாய்—அது எவ்வாறு ஏற்பட்டது? சொல், ஓ சிறந்த மனிதனே।”
