तावत्स दुर्गो दैत्येंद्रः पयोदांतरतो बली । चकार करकावृष्टिं वात्या वेगवतीं बहु
tāvatsa durgo daityeṃdraḥ payodāṃtarato balī | cakāra karakāvṛṣṭiṃ vātyā vegavatīṃ bahu
அப்போது வலிமைமிக்க தைத்யேந்திரன் துர்கன் மேகங்களின் உள்ளிருந்து ஆல்மழையைப் பொழியச் செய்தான்; மேலும் பல வேகமிக்க கொடிய சுழற்காற்றுகளையும் எழுப்பினான்.
