आगादिह महादेवो वृषेशो वृषभध्वजात् । बाणेश्वरस्य लिंगस्य समीपे वृषदः सदा
āgādiha mahādevo vṛṣeśo vṛṣabhadhvajāt | bāṇeśvarasya liṃgasya samīpe vṛṣadaḥ sadā
இங்கே மகாதேவன் வ்ருஷேசன், காளைச் சின்னம் தாங்கிய ஆண்டவனின் தாமத்திலிருந்து வந்துள்ளார். பாணேஸ்வர லிங்கத்தின் அருகே எப்போதும் இருந்து, வ்ருஷ-வரம்—நிலைத்தன்மை, வலிமை, ஆதரவு—அருள்கிறான்।
