इति काशीसमृद्धिं स विलोक्याभूद्विलज्जितः । उवाच च मनस्येव भूधरेंद्र इदं वचः
iti kāśīsamṛddhiṃ sa vilokyābhūdvilajjitaḥ | uvāca ca manasyeva bhūdhareṃdra idaṃ vacaḥ
இவ்வாறு காசியின் செழிப்பைக் கண்டு அவன் வெட்கமுற்றான்; மலைகளின் அரசன் தன் மனத்திலேயே சொல்வதுபோல் இவ்வார்த்தைகளை உரைத்தான்।
