स्कंद उवाच । इल्वलारे कथामेकां शृणुष्वावहितो भव । वरणायास्तटे रम्ये यद्वृत्त पूर्वमुत्तमम्
skaṃda uvāca | ilvalāre kathāmekāṃ śṛṇuṣvāvahito bhava | varaṇāyāstaṭe ramye yadvṛtta pūrvamuttamam
ஸ்கந்தன் கூறினான்—ஓ இல்வலாரா, ஒரு கதையை கேள்; கவனமாய் இரு. வாரணா கரையின் இனிய இடத்தில் முற்காலத்தில் நிகழ்ந்த சிறந்த நிகழ்வை கேள்.
