ब्राह्मणा यदि नष्टाः स्युर्वेदा नष्टास्ततः स्वयम् । आम्नायेषु प्रणष्टेषु विनष्टाः शततंतवः
brāhmaṇā yadi naṣṭāḥ syurvedā naṣṭāstataḥ svayam | āmnāyeṣu praṇaṣṭeṣu vinaṣṭāḥ śatataṃtavaḥ
பிராமணர்கள் அழிந்தால், அதன் பின் வேதங்களும் தாமே அழிந்துவிடும். மேலும் ஆம்நாயங்கள்—புனித பரம்பரைப் பரிமாற்றங்கள்—அழிந்தால், மரபின் நூற்றுமடங்கு தொடர்ச்சிகளும் நாசமடையும்.
