triśūlavyagrahastāya namastripathagādhara | triviṣṭapādhināthāya trivedīpaṭhitāya ca

Translation

உக்கிரமாகத் திரிசூலத்தை ஏந்தியவனே வணக்கம்; மும்மார்க்கமாகப் பாயும் கங்கையைத் தாங்கியவனே வணக்கம். திரிவிஷ்டபம் (சுவர்க்கம்) ஆளும் அதிபதியே வணக்கம்; மூன்று வேதங்களால் பாடப்பட்டவனே வணக்கம்।
