अर्क उवाच । नाथ काशीमितो गत्वा यथाशक्ति कृतोपधिः । अकिंचित्करतां प्राप्तः सहस्रकरवानपि
arka uvāca | nātha kāśīmito gatvā yathāśakti kṛtopadhiḥ | akiṃcitkaratāṃ prāptaḥ sahasrakaravānapi
அர்க்கன் கூறினான்—ஓ நாதா! இங்கிருந்து காசிக்குச் சென்று என் வல்லமைக்கேற்றபடி முயன்றேன்; ஆயினும் நான் உதவியற்ற நிலைக்குத் தள்ளப்பட்டேன், ஆயிரம் கதிர்கள் உடையவனாக இருந்தும்.
