प्रयागेशं महालिंगं तत्र तिष्ठति कामदम् । तत्सान्निध्याच्च तत्तीर्थं कामदं परिकीर्तितम्
prayāgeśaṃ mahāliṃgaṃ tatra tiṣṭhati kāmadam | tatsānnidhyācca tattīrthaṃ kāmadaṃ parikīrtitam
அங்கே விருப்பங்களை அருளும் ‘பிரயாகேச’ மகாலிங்கம் நிலைத்துள்ளது. அதன் புனித சாந்நித்யத்தால் அந்தத் தீர்த்தமும் ‘காமத’ (இச்சை நிறைவேற்றும்) எனப் புகழப்படுகிறது.
