अगस्त्य उवाच । षडास्य माधवाख्यानं श्रुतं मे पापनाशनम् । महिमापि श्रुतः श्रेयान्सम्यक्पंचनदस्य वै
agastya uvāca | ṣaḍāsya mādhavākhyānaṃ śrutaṃ me pāpanāśanam | mahimāpi śrutaḥ śreyānsamyakpaṃcanadasya vai
அகஸ்தியர் கூறினார்—ஷடாஸ்யன் மற்றும் மாதவனின் பாபநாசக வரலாற்றை நான் கேட்டேன். பஞ்சநதத்தின் சிறந்த மகிமையையும் முறையாகக் கேட்டேன்.
