svakarṇaviṣayīkurvannitipuṇyakathāmimām | kṣaṇādālokayāṃcakre maheṃdrasya mahāpurīm
இந்தப் புண்ணியக் கதையைத் தன் செவியால் ஏற்றுக் கொண்டவுடன், அவன் கணநேரத்தில் மகேந்திரன் (இந்திரன்) எனும் தேவனின் மாபெரும் நகரைத் தரிசித்தான்.
