ब्राह्मणेभ्यः प्रयच्छंति गीतं गायंत्यहर्निशम् । श्रुतावेव मनस्तेषां नाट्यशास्त्रकृतश्रमाः
brāhmaṇebhyaḥ prayacchaṃti gītaṃ gāyaṃtyaharniśam | śrutāveva manasteṣāṃ nāṭyaśāstrakṛtaśramāḥ
அவர்கள் பிராமணர்களுக்கு தங்கள் பாடலை அர்ப்பணித்து, பகலும் இரவும் பாடுகின்றனர். அவர்களின் மனம் கேள்வியிலேயே (இசைச் சுருதியில்) நிலைத்து, நாட்டியசாஸ்திர விதிகளில் உழைக்கின்றனர்.
