चंद्रचूडमृड धूर्जटे हर त्र्यक्ष दक्ष शततंतुशातन । शांतशाश्वत शिवापते शिव त्वां नतोस्मि नतवांछितप्रद
caṃdracūḍamṛḍa dhūrjaṭe hara tryakṣa dakṣa śatataṃtuśātana | śāṃtaśāśvata śivāpate śiva tvāṃ natosmi natavāṃchitaprada
சந்திரசூடனே, ம்ருடனே, தூర్జடீயே! ஹரனே, திரிநேத்ரனே, தக்ஷனே, நூறு நூல்போன்ற பந்தத்தை அறுப்பவனே! அமைதியான நித்தியனே, சிவாபதியே சிவனே! உமக்கு வணங்குகிறேன்—வணங்குவோரின் வேண்டுதலை அருள்பவனே।
