वेपमानो महाव्याधिभयात्सांबोपि दारुणात् । कृष्णं प्रसादयामास बहुशः पापशांतये
vepamāno mahāvyādhibhayātsāṃbopi dāruṇāt | kṛṣṇaṃ prasādayāmāsa bahuśaḥ pāpaśāṃtaye
அந்தக் கொடிய பெருநோயின் அச்சத்தால் நடுங்கிய சாம்பனும், தன் பாபம் சாந்தியடைய பலமுறை ஸ்ரீகிருஷ்ணனைப் பிரசன்னப்படுத்த முயன்றான்।
