स्कंद उवाच । लोलार्कस्य च माहात्म्यमुत्तरार्कस्य च द्विज । कथितं ते महाभाग सांबादित्यं निशामय
skaṃda uvāca | lolārkasya ca māhātmyamuttarārkasya ca dvija | kathitaṃ te mahābhāga sāṃbādityaṃ niśāmaya
ஸ்கந்தன் கூறினான்—ஓ இருமுறை பிறந்தவனே, ஓ பாக்கியவானே, லோலார்கமும் உத்தரார்கமும் பற்றிய மகிமையை உனக்குச் சொன்னேன்; இப்போது சாம்பாதித்யன் கதையை கேள்।
