बुद्धिपूर्वं मया चैतन्न पापं समुपार्जितम् । पुरारिणैव हि पुराऽशासि धर्मो हि रक्ष्यताम्
buddhipūrvaṃ mayā caitanna pāpaṃ samupārjitam | purāriṇaiva hi purā'śāsi dharmo hi rakṣyatām
இந்தப் பாவத்தை நான் அறிவோடு செய்து சேர்த்ததல்ல. ஏனெனில் முன்பே புராரி (சிவன்) தாமே ‘தர்மம் காக்கப்பட வேண்டும்’ என்று ஆணையிட்டார்।
