अथबालसखी भूत तत्तत्काननवीरुधम् शिवाप्रस्तावयांचक्रे विमुक्तां मुक्तिदां पुरीम्
athabālasakhī bhūta tattatkānanavīrudham śivāprastāvayāṃcakre vimuktāṃ muktidāṃ purīm
அப்போது அவள் (பார்வதி) இளமைத் தோழிபோல் ஆகி, பலவகை காடுகளும் கொடிகளும் சூழ, தன்னிலேயே விடுதலையானதும் விடுதலையளிப்பதும் ஆன அந்த நகரம்—காசி—பற்றி உரையெடுத்து வர்ணிக்கத் தொடங்கினாள்.
