नारीणां भर्तृपद् योरर्चनं तद्वचःश्रुतिः । समर्चयंति सततमनुजा निजमग्रजम्

Transliteration

nārīṇāṃ bhartṛpad yorarcanaṃ tadvacaḥśrutiḥ | samarcayaṃti satatamanujā nijamagrajam

Translation

பெண்களுக்கு கணவனின் பாதங்களைப் பூஜிப்பதும், அவன் சொற்களைப் பக்தியுடன் கேட்பதும் (தர்மம்) எனக் கூறப்படுகிறது. அதுபோல இளையோர் எப்போதும் தம் மூத்த சகோதரனை வணங்கி மதிக்கின்றனர்.
