Tirtha: Kāśī-kṣetra (Gaṅgā-tīrtha within Kāśī)
Type: kshetra
Listener: null
Scene: A pilgrim at a Gaṅgā-ghāṭa after thorough bathing; despite wet limbs, the chest/heart-region appears unnaturally dry and ashen; attendants whisper of ominous signs; distant spires of Kāśī temples under a pale sky.
When signs of impermanence arise, one should urgently align life with Dharma, devotion, and inner purification.
Kāśī is the overarching holy setting of the Kāśīkhaṇḍa; this verse focuses on personal omens rather than a named shrine.
Bathing (snāna) is referenced only as context; no new prescription is given.
