स्कंद उवाच । उषित्वैवं गृहे विप्रो द्वितीयादाश्रमात्परम् । वलीपलितसंयुक्तस्तृतीयाश्रममाविशेत्
skaṃda uvāca | uṣitvaivaṃ gṛhe vipro dvitīyādāśramātparam | valīpalitasaṃyuktastṛtīyāśramamāviśet
ஸ்கந்தர் கூறினார்—இவ்வாறு இல்லறத்தில் வாழ்ந்து இரண்டாம் ஆசிரமத்தை நிறைவு செய்த பிராமணன், சுருக்கங்களும் நரைத்த தலைமுடியும் தோன்றியபோது, மூன்றாம் ஆசிரமமான வானப்ரஸ்தத்தில் நுழைய வேண்டும்।
