न शब्दशास्त्राभिरतस्य मोक्षो न चैव रम्या वसथप्रियस्य । न भोजनाच्छादन तत्परस्य न लोकवित्त ग्रहणे रतस्य
na śabdaśāstrābhiratasya mokṣo na caiva ramyā vasathapriyasya | na bhojanācchādana tatparasya na lokavitta grahaṇe ratasya
வெறும் சொல்-சாஸ்திரத்தில் மூழ்கியவனுக்கு மோட்சம் இல்லை; இனிய வாசஸ்தலத்தில் ஆசை கொண்டவனுக்கும் இல்லை; உணவு-உடை பற்றில் ஈடுபட்டவனுக்கும் இல்லை; உலகச் செல்வம் சேர்ப்பதில் மகிழ்பவனுக்கும் இல்லை।
