क्लीबं वा दुरवस्थंवा व्याधितं वृद्धमेव वा । सुस्थितं दुःस्थितं वापि पतिमेकं न लंघयेत
klībaṃ vā duravasthaṃvā vyādhitaṃ vṛddhameva vā | susthitaṃ duḥsthitaṃ vāpi patimekaṃ na laṃghayeta
கணவர் ஆண்மை குறைந்தவராக இருந்தாலும், துன்பநிலையில் இருந்தாலும், நோயுற்றவராக இருந்தாலும், முதியவராக இருந்தாலும்; நலநிலையில் இருந்தாலும் துயர்நிலையில் இருந்தாலும்—அவள் தன் ஒரே கணவரை ஒருபோதும் விட்டு விலகவோ மீறவோ கூடாது.
