तया तु षष्टिहायिन्या पीडिताः प्राणिनोऽखिलाः । केचिदंबुधितीरेषु गिरिद्रोणीषु केचन
tayā tu ṣaṣṭihāyinyā pīḍitāḥ prāṇino'khilāḥ | kecidaṃbudhitīreṣu giridroṇīṣu kecana
அறுபது ஆண்டுகள் நீண்ட அந்த மழையின்மையால் எல்லா உயிர்களும் துன்புற்றன. சிலர் கடற்கரைகளில், சிலர் மலைப் பள்ளத்தாக்குகளில் தங்கினர்।
