रूपवित्तकुलैर्हीनान्सुधीर्नाधिक्षिपेन्नरान् । पुप्पवंतौ न चेक्षेत त्वशुचिर्ज्योतिषां गणम्
rūpavittakulairhīnānsudhīrnādhikṣipennarān | puppavaṃtau na cekṣeta tvaśucirjyotiṣāṃ gaṇam
அறிவுடையவன் அழகு, செல்வம், குலம் இவற்றில் குறைந்தவர்களை இகழக் கூடாது. மேலும் அசுத்த நிலையில் காதல் விளையாட்டில் ஈடுபட்ட இருவரையும் பார்க்கக் கூடாது; விண்மீன் கூட்டத்தையும் நோக்கக் கூடாது.
