कृतांतरायो न पठेद्भेकाखु श्वाहि बभ्रुभिः । भूताष्टम्योः पंचदश्योर्ब्रह्मचारी सदा भवेत्

Transliteration

kṛtāṃtarāyo na paṭhedbhekākhu śvāhi babhrubhiḥ | bhūtāṣṭamyoḥ paṃcadaśyorbrahmacārī sadā bhavet

Translation

இடையூறு ஏற்பட்டால் தவளைகள், எலிகள், நாய்கள், பாம்புகள், நகுலங்கள் ஆகியவற்றின் நடுவில் பாராயணம் செய்யக் கூடாது. பூதா, அஷ்டமி திதிகளிலும் பதினைந்தாம் திதியிலும் பிரம்மச்சாரி எப்போதும் பிரம்மச்சரியத்தில் நிலைத்திருக்க வேண்டும்.
