mukhe paryuṣite yasmādbhavedaśucibhāgnaraḥ | tataḥ kuryātprayatnena śuddhyarthaṃ daṃtadhāvanam

ஏனெனில் இரவு கழிந்தபின் வாய் பழுதாக (பழையதாக) இருந்தால் மனிதன் அசுத்தத்தின் பங்காளியாகிறான்; ஆகவே தூய்மைக்காக முயன்று பல் துலக்க வேண்டும்.
