सत्यं क्षमार्जवं ध्यानमानृशंस्यमहिंसनम् । दमः प्रसादो माधुर्यं मृदुतेति यमा दश
satyaṃ kṣamārjavaṃ dhyānamānṛśaṃsyamahiṃsanam | damaḥ prasādo mādhuryaṃ mṛduteti yamā daśa
சத்தியம், பொறுமை, நேர்மை, தியானம், கருணை, அஹிம்சை, தமம் (இந்திரியக் கட்டுப்பாடு), பிரசன்னம், இனிமை, மென்மை—இவையே பத்து யமங்கள்।
