आवयोरंतरं कोसौ बिभृयात्पुरुषाकृतिम् । विधिः संभावयेद्यावत्तावत्स हि विलोकितः
āvayoraṃtaraṃ kosau bibhṛyātpuruṣākṛtim | vidhiḥ saṃbhāvayedyāvattāvatsa hi vilokitaḥ
“எங்களிருவருக்கும் இடையிலுள்ள இந்த இடைவெளியில் யார் மனிதவடிவம் ஏற்க முடியும்?”—என்று விதி (பிரம்மா) எண்ணிய அளவுக்கு, அவ்வளவு நேரமும் அந்த அதிசயத்தை நோக்கிக் கொண்டே இருந்தான்।
