பசியால் சோர்ந்து, தொண்டையும் உதடுகளும் உலர்ந்து, ‘அய்யோ! அய்யோ!’ என்று புலம்பியவாறு அந்த வணிகன் மீண்டும் காசிப்புரியை அடைந்தான்; அவன் முகம் முற்றிலும் வாடியிருந்தது।
