हाहेत्याताड्य हृदयं चक्रंद बहुशो भृशम् । इतस्ततस्तमालोक्य गतस्तदनुसारतः
hāhetyātāḍya hṛdayaṃ cakraṃda bahuśo bhṛśam | itastatastamālokya gatastadanusārataḥ
“அய்யோ!” என்று சொல்லி தன் மார்பைத் தட்டிக்கொண்டு, மிகுந்த துயரால் மீண்டும் மீண்டும் அழுதான். இங்கும் அங்கும் நோக்கி அவனைத் தொடர்ந்து சென்றான்.
