Transliteration

brahmaśāpa vinirdagdhānsarvānrājarṣisattamaḥ | mahatā tapasā bhūmimānināya trivartmagām

Translation

பிரம்ம சாபத்தால் எரிந்த அனைவரையும் மீட்க, அந்தச் சிறந்த ராஜரிஷி மகத்தான தவத்தால் மூன்று பாதைகளில் செல்லும் கங்கையை பூமிக்கு இறக்கினான்.
