दीर्घायुःकारिणी दीर्घा दोग्ध्री दूषणवर्जिता । दुग्धांबुवाहिनी दोह्या दिव्या दिव्यगतिप्रदा
dīrghāyuḥkāriṇī dīrghā dogdhrī dūṣaṇavarjitā | dugdhāṃbuvāhinī dohyā divyā divyagatipradā
அவள் நீண்ட ஆயுளை அருள்பவள்; தானும் நீண்டதும் நிலைத்ததும். போஷணமளிக்கும் ‘தோக்த்ரீ’, குற்றமற்றவள். பால் போன்ற உயிர்தரும் நீரைச் சுமப்பவள்; பக்தியால் ‘கறக்கத்தக்க’வள்; தெய்வீகமானவள், தெய்வீக கதியை அளிப்பவள்.
