व्योमांगणमनर्कं च नक्तेऽदीपं यथा गृहम । अवेदा ब्राह्मणा यद्वद्गंगाहीनास्तथा दिशः
vyomāṃgaṇamanarkaṃ ca nakte'dīpaṃ yathā gṛhama | avedā brāhmaṇā yadvadgaṃgāhīnāstathā diśaḥ
சூரியமில்லா வானம் மங்குவது போலவும், இரவில் விளக்கமில்லா வீடு பயனற்றது போலவும், வேதமற்ற பிராமணர் பெருமையிழப்பது போலவும்—கங்கையில்லாமல் திசைகள் வறுமையுறுகின்றன।
