पितॄनुद्दिश्य योभक्त्या पायसं मधुसंयुतम् । गुडसर्पिस्तिलैःसार्धं गंगांभसि विनिक्षिपेत्
pitṝnuddiśya yobhaktyā pāyasaṃ madhusaṃyutam | guḍasarpistilaiḥsārdhaṃ gaṃgāṃbhasi vinikṣipet
பித்ருக்களை நோக்கி பக்தியுடன் தேன் கலந்த பாயசத்தை, வெல்லம், நெய், எள்ளுடன் சேர்த்து கங்கையின் நீரில் அர்ப்பணிப்பவன் வலிமைமிக்க பித்ருத் தர்ப்பணத்தை நிறைவேற்றுகிறான்.
