गंगां गच्छति यस्त्वेको यस्तु भक्त्यानुमोदयेत् । तयोस्तुल्यफलं प्राहुर्भक्तिरेवात्र कारणम्
gaṃgāṃ gacchati yastveko yastu bhaktyānumodayet | tayostulyaphalaṃ prāhurbhaktirevātra kāraṇam
ஒருவர் கங்கைக்குச் செல்கிறார்; மற்றொருவர் (செல்ல இயலாமல்) பக்தியுடன் அதனை அனுமதித்து மகிழ்கிறார்—இருவருக்கும் சம பலன் எனக் கூறப்படுகிறது; இங்கே காரணம் பக்தியே.
