gate bahutithekāle prācyaudīcyāṃ bhṛśārditāḥ | caṇḍaraśmeḥ karavrātapātasantāpatāpitāḥ

பல நாட்கள் கடந்தபின் கிழக்கும் வடக்கும் உள்ள மக்கள் மிகுந்த துன்புற்றனர்; கடுங் கதிர்கள் கொண்ட சூரியனின் பொழியும் கதிர்தொகையின் எரிதாபத்தால் அவர்கள் சுட்டெரிந்தனர்।
