Transliteration

mārdavaṃ strīprayogeṣu vatsalatvaṃ prajāsu ca | brāhmaṇebhyo bhayaṃ nityaṃ vṛddhavṛttyupajīvanam

Translation

பெண்களுடன் பழகுதலில் மென்மை, குடிமக்கள்/ஆச்ரிதர்களிடம் பாசமிகு பரிவு; பிராமணர்களின் முன்னே எப்போதும் அச்சம் கலந்த கட்டுப்பாடு, மேலும் மூத்தோர் கடைப்பிடித்த மரியாதைக்குரிய வாழ்வுமுறையால் வாழ்தல்—இவை தர்மகுணங்களெனப் போற்றப்படுகின்றன।
