कनिष्ठेष्वधिकं दृष्ट्वा सावर्ण्यादिषु नो यमः । कदाचिद्रोषतो बाल्याद्भाविनोर्थस्य गौरवात्
kaniṣṭheṣvadhikaṃ dṛṣṭvā sāvarṇyādiṣu no yamaḥ | kadācidroṣato bālyādbhāvinorthasya gauravāt
சாவர்ணி முதலிய இளையவர்களுக்கு அதிக அருள் காட்டப்படுவதைக் கண்டு யமன்—இளமைச் சுபாவத்தால்—சிலவேளைகளில் கோபமடைந்தான்; வருங்கால விளைவின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை மனத்தில் வைத்து।
