जयेति चोक्त्वा जय योनिमुग्रमुवाच नंदी कनकावदातम् । गणेश्वराणां रणकर्म देव देवैश्च सेंद्रैरपि दुष्करं यत्
jayeti coktvā jaya yonimugramuvāca naṃdī kanakāvadātam | gaṇeśvarāṇāṃ raṇakarma deva devaiśca seṃdrairapi duṣkaraṃ yat
“ஜயம் ஜயம்!” என்று முழங்கி நந்தி அந்த பொன்னொளி ஆண்டவனிடம் கூறினான்—“தேவா, கணேச்வரர்களின் போர்கடமை இந்திரனுடன் கூடிய தேவர்களுக்கும் அரிது।”
