आधिपत्यकमलातिचंचला प्राप्यतां च यदिहार्जितं किल । निश्चलं सदसदुच्चकैर्हितं कार्यमार्यचरितैः सदैव तत्
ādhipatyakamalāticaṃcalā prāpyatāṃ ca yadihārjitaṃ kila | niścalaṃ sadasaduccakairhitaṃ kāryamāryacaritaiḥ sadaiva tat
ஆட்சி அதிகாரம் தாமரையில் அமரும் லட்சுமிபோல் மிகச் சஞ்சலமானது; இங்கே முயன்று பெற்றாலும் அப்படியே. ஆகவே உயர்ந்தோர் எப்போதும் நிலையானதும் உண்மையில் நன்மை தருவதுமானதைப் பேண வேண்டும்—உயர்-தாழ், நன்று-தீது ஆகியவற்றிலும் உறுதியாக நிற்கும் சதாசாரம்.
