अगस्तिरुवाच । शिवशर्मणि शर्मकारिणीं प थि दिव्ये श्रमहारिणीं गणौ । कथयंतौ तु कथामिमां शुभामुडुलोकं परिजग्मतुस्ततः

Transliteration

agastiruvāca | śivaśarmaṇi śarmakāriṇīṃ pa thi divye śramahāriṇīṃ gaṇau | kathayaṃtau tu kathāmimāṃ śubhāmuḍulokaṃ parijagmatustataḥ

Translation

அகஸ்தியர் கூறினார்—தெய்வப் பாதையில் களைப்பை நீக்கி சிவசர்மனுக்கு மகிழ்ச்சி அளித்த அந்த இரு கணங்களும், இச் சுபக் கதையைச் சொல்லிக்கொண்டே அங்கிருந்து உடுலோகம் (நட்சத்திரலோகம்) நோக்கிச் சென்றனர்.
