दक्षिणामददत्सोमस्त्रींल्लोकानिति नौ श्रुतम् । तेभ्यो ब्रह्मर्षिमुख्येभ्यः सदस्येभ्यश्च भो द्विज
dakṣiṇāmadadatsomastrīṃllokāniti nau śrutam | tebhyo brahmarṣimukhyebhyaḥ sadasyebhyaśca bho dvija
நாம் கேட்டதாவது: சோமன் மூன்று உலகங்களுக்குச் சமமான தக்ஷிணையை அளித்தான்—பிரம்மரிஷிகளில் முதன்மையோருக்கும் யாகசபை உறுப்பினர்களுக்கும், ஓ த்விஜா, வழங்கினான்।
