kva sā parvatadeśīyā caṃdrakāṃtaśilodbhavā | dīpikā vyagrahastāgrā sālaṃkṛcchālabhaṃjikā

Translation

மலைநாட்டில் பிறந்த சந்திரகாந்தக் கல்லிலிருந்து தோன்றிய அந்த தீபிகை எங்கே? அசைந்தாடும் கையின் நுனியில் அதன் சுடர் நடுங்கி, அலங்கரிக்கப்பட்டு, மாளிகையின் ஒளியையும் மிஞ்சுவது போலத் திகழ்கிறது.
