na tatyāja ca taddharmaṃ durbodho vyasanī yataḥ | mṛgayā madya paiśunya veśyācauryadurodaraiḥ

அவன் மந்தபுத்தியும் பழக்கங்களுக்கு அடிமையும்; ஆகவே அந்த வழக்கத்தை விட்டுவிடவில்லை—வேட்டை, மதுபானம், பழிசொல்‑சாடை, விலைமகளிர் சங்கம், திருட்டு, அழிவூட்டும் சூதாட்டம் ஆகியவற்றில் பற்றுடையவன்.
