viśveṣāṃ viśvabījānāṃ karmākhyānāṃ layo yataḥ | asminnirvāṇade liṃge viśvaliṃgamidaṃ tataḥ

இந்த முக்தி அளிக்கும் லிங்கத்தில் எல்லா உலக விதைகளும், கர்ம வரலாறுகளும் லயமடைவதால், இதுவே ‘விஸ்வ-லிங்கம்’—பிரபஞ்சத்தின் லிங்கம்—என்று அழைக்கப்படுகிறது।
