கபுர (கபுரா) கனிகளால் அந்த இடம் ‘கபுர வடிவம்’ போலத் தோன்றியது; ஸ்ரீபல மரங்களில் ஸ்ரீபலங்கள் மிகுதியாக இருந்தன; அகுருவின் மணம் கனத்த மாட்சியைத் தந்தது, கபித்த கனிகள் குரங்கின் நிறம்போல் மஞ்சள்-செம்மைத் தோற்றம் அளித்தன।
