शक्रं कोपयता पूर्वमस्मद्गोत्रेण केनचित् । पक्षहीनः कृतो यत्र धिगपक्षस्यचेष्टितम्
śakraṃ kopayatā pūrvamasmadgotreṇa kenacit | pakṣahīnaḥ kṛto yatra dhigapakṣasyaceṣṭitam
முன்னொரு காலத்தில் எங்கள் குலத்திலுள்ள ஒருவர் சக்ரனை (இந்திரனை) கோபப்படுத்தினார்; அதனால் அங்கே அவன் சிறகற்றவனாக்கப்பட்டான். சிறகில்லாதவனின் முயற்சிகளுக்கு நிந்தை!॥
