अशेषधर्मकुशलाः सर्वशास्त्रविशारदाः । तपोज्ञाने महाख्याता ब्रह्मयज्ञपरायणाः । स्थापिता ऋषयः सर्वे सहस्राण्यष्टादशैव तु
aśeṣadharmakuśalāḥ sarvaśāstraviśāradāḥ | tapojñāne mahākhyātā brahmayajñaparāyaṇāḥ | sthāpitā ṛṣayaḥ sarve sahasrāṇyaṣṭādaśaiva tu
அந்த ரிஷிகள் அனைவரும் அங்கே நிறுவப்பட்டனர்—தர்மத்தின் எல்லா கூறுகளிலும் தேர்ந்தவர்கள், அனைத்து சாஸ்திரங்களிலும் வல்லவர்கள், தவமும் ஞானமும் காரணமாகப் புகழ்பெற்றவர்கள், பிரஹ்மயஜ்ஞத்தில் பராயணர்கள். எண்ணிக்கை பதினெட்டு ஆயிரம்.
