Transliteration

phalairviśālairākīrṇaṃ skaṃdhakāṃḍādiśobhitam | phalaughāḍhyo jaṭāyukto nyagro dho viṭapo mahān

Translation

அது பெரிய கனிகளால் நிரம்பி, தண்டு-கிளைகள் முதலியவற்றால் அழகுபெற்று, கனிக்கூட்டங்களால் செழித்து, தொங்கும் வேர்களுடன் கூடிய மகத்தான ந்யக்ரோத (ஆல்) மரமாக இருந்தது।
