काणा च विमुखा वापि कुरूपापि च जायते । बाह्यादायांतमालोक्य त्वरिता च जलासनैः । तांबूलैर्व्यजनैश्चैव पादसंवाहनादिभिः
kāṇā ca vimukhā vāpi kurūpāpi ca jāyate | bāhyādāyāṃtamālokya tvaritā ca jalāsanaiḥ | tāṃbūlairvyajanaiścaiva pādasaṃvāhanādibhiḥ
அவள் ஒற்றைக் கண்ணியாகவோ, முகம் மாறியவளாகவோ, அசிங்கமானவளாகவோ ஆவாள். கணவன் வெளியிலிருந்து வருவதைக் கண்டதும் நீர், ஆசனம், தாம்பூலம், விசிறி, கால் பிடித்தல் போன்றவற்றால் உபசரிக்க வேண்டும்.
